A skilled team of fishermen and cormorant on a bamboo raft

Description:

The fishermen float bamboo rafts along the river using long wooden paddles, taking several trained cormorants with them. To encourage the cormorants to dive into the water, the fishermen rock the rafts while softly humming.
In the water, the natural hunting instinct of the cormorant is aroused and they become like guided missiles, expert at locating fish.
